Editing: Use of shot reverse shot and mid shots used in the third scene with the principle and one of the leading male roles, mid close up used in the same scene and then scene where he's at the door and when other social groups are being introduced. Mid close ups and close ups are used for each character. throughout the trailer there was the use of sound bridge binding all scenes together
Sound: The use of sound bridge and a continuous dialogue through the film and other background noises this is a main feature of a moving image title sequence. The beginning of the scene we hear rebellious music to reflect the character of the main leading role.
M.E.S: The road at the beginning scene of students in the film making their way to "high school" the camera zooms into the main leading girl role (Julia Stiles) in a red missed match coloured car wearing a black hoodie this reflects her uncaring character, in the second scene we see hockey players wearing rolling blades playing at school entrance through the entrance. The third scene is with the principle and second leading male role in the principle office by looking at the clothing of the boy we see that the social group he would associate with would be the nerds and geeks. as he leaves the room we are shown the main leading male role played by (Heath Ledger) who is dressed in a blueish, greyish muscle T-shirt telling us that he's the token bad boy. back to the nerdy geeky boy in the hall way we see that the person showing him around he is also a  fellow nerd just proving our assumptions. We see other social groups in the sixth scene one of them is the skaters and then we are introduced the sister of the main leading female role and just by looking at what she's dressed which is a white dress and a red cardigan on top we assume that she's quite popular we later find out that she is.
