Genre and Teen Drama movies

Genre-
Genre is when a film follows a set of rules or conventions so they fit into a specific category. This helps consumers determine what kind of film the like and want to watch, and producers decide what kind of film they want to make.

A Teen Drama is a film mainly focused on teenagers and conventionally cover the 'coming of age.' They are often based in schools or urban environments, and other characters include parents, teachers or law enforcers.
Teen drama sequences tend to have independent owners. Youth dramas tend to have shorter title sequences as they have less people to credit due to it being an independent film, we saw this in the My Brother The Devil title sequence which was an independent film and quite a short opening sequence whereas high school movies tend to have longer credits due to it having a conglomerate ownership and more people to credit, we saw this in the Mean Girls opening sequence which was longer as they credited more people such as bug name stars such as Lindsey Lohan.

People are hired especially to create title sequences. Title sequences are very important for both independent and conglomerate institutes. They are the first impressions for the audience and can set the scene and allows the producer to put their stamp on the film. They are hired by independent companies or they may be part of a conglomerate.
